The TAMS Pillars Scholarship

Thornton Academy is pleased to announce the Pillars Scholarship. Four scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded to deserving students entering grade 6 at TAMS. Students must demonstrate dedication to one of the four Thornton Academy Pillars: Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, and Investment.

Thornton Academy's Middle School (TAMS) teaches students from grades 6-8 and is part of the independent school of Thornton Academy (6-12 grades). Our beautiful, newly-renovated building provides a place where middle schoolers thrive in a close-knit community. Collaboration among faculty allows interdisciplinary learning and exploration.

Middle school students living in Dayton and Arundel simply enroll and tuition is publicly funded.
