  • State-of-the-art dance studio used for all levels of dance, from Dance I through Dance Company.

University Preparation

  • 80 colleges and universities visit campus each year; college fair occurs on campus annually
  • Experienced and knowledgeable guidance counselors assist students each step of the way, from selecting their courses, to preparing their college applications.
  • Diploma Endorsements offered in STEM, STEM Applied, New Media, Fine Arts, and Advanced Studies.
  • University partnerships with the University of Maine School of Engineering and the University of New England.
  • Aspirations Program (Early College Program) enables juniors and seniors to enroll in college-level courses to earn college and high school credits. Courses are offered at the University of Maine System (USM Portland, Gorham, Saco Island), Southern Maine Community College, and York County Community College.
  • International Student Assistance:
    • Golden Edge Program prepares students for SAT, TOEFL, and university applications.
    • The Director of International College Counseling and the International College Counselor have more than 50 years of experience in college counseling and have sent more than 5,000 high school students to college during their careers.
    • The TOEFL test center is 20 minutes away and transportation is provided. The program’s goal is to have our students score at least 100 on TOEFL iBT.

Residential Life

  • 6 Recently-built dormitories with 70 double-occupancy rooms.
  • 200 Boarding students
  • Dorms are supervised by 'dorm parents'; faculty & staff members that live in the dormitories full-time with their families.
  • Each dorm provides multiple bathrooms, laundry rooms, kitchenettes, and student lounges.
  • Each room includes a bed, a desk, a wardrobe, a dresser, a bookshelf, and a chair for each student. 
  • All students have access to the campus-wide wi-fi service, dorm lounges with big screen TVs, pianos, and a new outdoor basketball court.
  • Three meals a day are provided in the dining commons.
  • Students can also choose to live with local homestay families. Homestay families are selected and matched to students by our own Director of Homestay.
  • Weekend activities are offered to all residential students, and include: sports events, outdoor adventure activities, concerts, shopping, visits to Portland and Boston, and many more.
