Respect: starting off the 2017-18 school year on the right foot.

This morning in Linnell Gymnasium, Headmaster Rene Menard '88 welcomed over 1400 high school students for their first day of school year 2017-18 at Thornton Academy. His comments focused on the theme of respect, one of the four pillars that define the Thornton Academy experience. Headmaster Menard reminded students to always treat each other with the respect and dignity that each member of the Thornton Academy community deserves. No matter the fractured political climate that may exist nationwide, we can create a school where all feel comfortable and respected.
