Registration Process
Students in grades 6-8 from the town of Arundel attend Thornton Academy's middle school program by virtue of a town contract. Students in the Maine communities of Saco, Dayton and Arundel attend Thornton Academy for grades 9 through 12 by virtue of a similar town contract. For these students, admissions is simply a registration process with our Guidance Office. Every spring, information about Thornton Academy is provided by the sending schools in these communities to students and their families. Families relocating to Saco, Dayton or Arundel may contact the Thornton Academy Guidance Office at 207-282-3361, ext. 231, for residence requirements and registration forms.

Admissions Process
Thornton Academy seeks students from all communities with high academic motivation and willingness to become involved in a full array of activities within their school community. Any student who will contribute to, as well as benefit from, the many available academic, artistic and athletic programs is welcome in the Thornton Academy school community.
