Join us at TAMS for this fun, free, indoor event open to families with kids of all ages.
The whole family is invited for a morning of holiday games, crafts, and fun activities held at Thornton Academy Middle School! Take a tour of TAMS, chat with our wonderful teachers, enjoy a hot cocoa, and take a photo with Santa. No registration is needed to attend this free event; families are welcome to drop-in anytime between 10:00 am-noon.

Answer: Meet TAMS staff including principal Tiffany Robert, learn why Thornton Academy was voted the Best Private School in Maine for 2021, take a tour of TAMS, take a photo with Santa, and play fun games with the whole family.
Question: Who is invited to the TAMS Holiday Extravaganza?
Answer: Anyone and everyone that wants to know more about TAMS! Learn how our small and supportive middle school can help students be who they are and become who they want to be during the crucial period of adolescence. This event is open to families with kids of all ages.
Question: Is it too early to apply to TAMS for 2023-24?
Answer: No! Enrollment at TAMS for 2023-2034 has already begun. Visit our TAMS admissions page for more information about applying, whether your town qualifies for easy registration, scholarships and financial aid, and upcoming admissions events.

What is Thornton Academy Middle School?
Thornton Academy Middle School (TAMS) is a place where students create, dream, and inspire! Our teachers work to create an atmosphere where all different types of learning can take place. As a small, close-knit school, we are able to take a personalized approach toward recognizing the individual needs and accomplishments of each child.
TAMS is a leader in bringing innovative programs to our classrooms. We encourage students to take advantage of our academic extension courses, participate in our off-campus expeditions, and join clubs or sports. With the support and care of our dedicated staff, students are encouraged to try new things. Middle School is a time for students to learn, explore and grow!
