TA Freshman Refurbish Historic Trolley

This past September, three TA freshman (Thalia Tucker, Metis Tucker, and Nia Farago-Dumsch) were part of a group of local youth who participated in a special restoration project through the Seacoast Trolley Museum. They spent several months volunteering to transform the interior and exterior of Nagasaki Tram 134—a four-wheel, closed car trolley. The tram was a gift to Seashore Trolley Museum from the Nagasaki Electric Tramway Company of Japan in 1960 to honor the 100th Anniversary of the opening of trade relations between the United States and Japan.
