Music Program Wins Awards at Six Flags New England's Music in the Parks Festival
Thornton Academy’s music program had a winning day at Six Flags New England on Friday, April 29, at the Music in the Parks Festival. The Treble Choir won 1st place with a “Superior” rating and the Chamber Singers also won 1st place with a “Superior” rating in their respective categories. The Chamber Singers also won Best Choir Overall for the day and James Perkins was recognized as Best High School Soloist. Music teachers Ms. Camille Saucier and Mrs. Cathy Murray accompanied the students.
