Congratulations to the 60 Thornton Academy students inducted into the National Honor Society last week.
To be considered, juniors must have a GPA of 3.85 or better; seniors require a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Each application is reviewed by an NHS Faculty Council. Students accepted into NHS must maintain their GPA, attend bi-weekly meetings, participate in NHS events and community outreach, and complete a mandated amount of volunteer hours.
