The TAMS Players return to the stage next weekend for a production of "The Little Mermaid, JR", the popular musical based on a Hans Christian Andersen story.
In this Disney adaptation, a young mermaid princess longs to be human after falling for a prince, and trades her voice to a sea witch in exchange for legs. But as sea witches do, there is a clause that imposes a deadline to win true love.
The performances, at the Harry P. Garland II Auditorium on the Thornton Academy campus, are Friday, January 30, at 7 pm, Saturday, January 31, at 7 pm, and Sunday, February 1, at 2 pm.
Good seats are available at www.thorntonacademy.org/arts.
