University Partnerships
Ready, set, university!
At Thornton Academy, we want our students to pursue a course of studies that meets their academic needs. We partner with universities to provide opportunities beyond our campus. These partnerships give our students a significant advantage as they begin their post-secondary education. Thornton Academy has one of the most rigorous and extensive programs of study among private schools, and we don't stop there! Advanced students may explore dual-enrollment options with classes from University of Southern Maine, University of New England, York County Community College, and Southern Maine Community College.
What is unique about this partnership is the breadth and quality of Advanced Placement classes that Thornton Academy offers.
