Thank you for your interest in Thornton Academy Middle School (TAMS). We’re happy to help you with the application process. Families residing in Saco apply and pay tuition to attend Thornton Academy Middle School. TAMS operates under rolling admissions and we are currently accepting applications for the 24-25 school year.

Welcome to Saco! We’re happy to help you navigate the school registration process for your child in grades 9-12.

Parents/guardians of 9th - 12th grade students must complete the Saco Residency Form and are asked to provide two items to prove primary Saco residency. The form and proof of residency documents should be emailed to Jen Partridge at jpartridge@sacoschools.org.  Acceptable forms of proof include:

1st Proof of Residency (1 of the items below)

• Home purchase agreement, Deed or Mortgage Statement
• Current lease agreement, Section 8 or housing agreement - Complete with address, lease date, with signature of landlord & tenant.
• If the above two cannot be provided then use of the Alternative Affidavit for Residency may be approved for use.

2nd Proof of Residency (1 of the items below) 

• Current utility bill with parent/guardian name & address dated within the past 30 days (CMP, water, sewer, internet, homeowners insurance.) 
• Payroll stub or W2 with home address

Thornton Academy has and will always be a publicly-funded middle school and high school of choice for families in Arundel. As a resident of Arundel, you are able to access a Thornton Academy education at no cost to your family for your child for grades 6-12. Please reach out to debbie.crepeau@thorntonacademy.org with any questions about enrollment.

Intent to enroll for Arundel Students Grades 6-8

Thornton Academy has and will always be a publicly funded middle school and high school of choice for families in Dayton. As a resident of Dayton, you are able to access a Thornton Academy education at no cost to your family for your child for grades 6-12. Please contact debbie.crepeau@thorntonacademy.org with any questions about enrollment.

As Arundel Residents, the first step of registering at TA would be to prove residency at the Kennebunk Superintendent's Office (Located at: 177 Alewive Road Kennebunk, ME 04043. Please contact Shelly Allen to find out what documents are needed to prove your residency:
