Shadow Days

Thornton Academy welcomes prospective 6th-12th grade students to experience a day in the life of a TA or TAMS student through a shadow day! Prospective students are matched with current students who share similar interests, and will have the opportunity to meet new friends, participate in classes that interest them, and engage authentically with our school community.

Shadow days for the 2024-25 will begin on November 1, 2024. If you'd like to schedule a shadow day for your child, complete the request form below.

"I enjoy giving shadow days because of how helpful it is to new students. Not knowing anyone and not knowing your way around school can be hard. It’s nice to help new students feel a little less stressed on their first day!"
