Pillars Scholarship
Thornton Academy is pleased to offer the Pillars Scholarship!
The Thornton Academy Pillars Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program for newly-enrolling day students entering grade 6-12. Thornton Academy will award scholarships to qualified students who demonstrate our Four Pillars:
Respect, Responsibility, Investment, Compassion
The Pillars Scholarship is awarded to exceptional students, regardless of financial need.
Scholarship Details
The Thornton Academy Admission Committee awards the Pillars Scholarship based on information from the student's application and scholarship video. The Pillars Scholarship will be granted as a $2,500 award towards Thornton Academy tuition for the first year of enrollment. Students applying toThornton Academy in grades 6-12 are welcome to apply. Applicants for the scholarship must demonstrate outstanding character in addition to a stellar academic record.
The Pillars Scholarship application must be submitted alongside admission materials at the time of application.
Scholarship awards may be limited after July 15.

Submit an original video to admissions@thorntonacademy.org adhering to the following criteria:
- Create an original video (maximum 3 minutes in length)
- Use only your first name in the video
- Tell us why you believe you embody all four of Thornton Academy's pillars
