Thornton Academy Middle School (TAMS) is a place where students create, dream, and inspire! Our teachers work to create an atmosphere where all different types of learning can take place. As a small, close-knit school, we are able to take a personalized approach toward recognizing the individual needs and accomplishments of each child.

At TA Middle School, students who qualify are able to take classes at the upper school as an eighth grader. Expand your horizons early!

Arts is a key feature of Thornton Academy, grades 6-12. At TAMS, students can participate in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and have access to TA's arts facilities.

At TA Middle School, students get to enjoy recess – a time to get outside, socialize and take a break from the day. TAMS also offers 20 minutes every day of SSR, sustained silent reading.
