6th grade fundamentals
Partly as a reaction to the time lost and disruptions during the pandemic, the staff at Thornton Academy Middle School is committed to getting our students back on track in the core subjects. This is why the school has decided to ensure all sixth grade students take at least one Math and one English Language Arts class every single day.
Emphasizing these two bedrock curriculums puts our students on a path back to success as we come out of the pandemic. Together we can prepare our 6th graders for the rigor of their later years of Middle School and on to Thornton Academy Upper School.
