TA Profile 2019-20

As a response to the current coronavirus pandemic, the Maine Principals' Association (MPA) Board of Directors and Interscholastic Management Committee voted on March 13 to delay the start of spring athletic practices for the state's high schools to Monday, April 27. As a result, the opening practices for Thornton Academy and Thornton Academy Middle School spring athletic activities will be moved to that date.

Thornton Academy and the athletic associations with which we are affiliated (MPA, Southwestern Maine Activities Association, Southern Maine Middle School Athletic Conference) are committed to the safety and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters. We will continue to work with these and other educational organizations to monitor this situation and respond accordingly. Please note that any schedules currently posted or published will undergo revision as these associations work together to manage this challenge.  Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding.
