Clubs

Find the place where you belong.
Explore your passion.

With over 40 clubs and activities, there is something for everyone on campus.

Students take a leadership role in the clubs and are always invited to start a new club if they have a specific interest. Whether you want to develop a talent, nurture an interest, make new friends, or simply do something you enjoy, we encourage you to discover your passion. Being a student at TA is about being who you are while making supportive connections along the way.

"Clubs at Thornton Academy are wide in range from games, to foods, to initiatives, it seems like these endless opportunities never stop. If it does, the school is quick to help you make a new group. For me, clubs have given my connections and opportunities I probably wouldn’t have ever had otherwise."

Active Minds Club

Active Minds works to establish a destigmatized view of mental health around our campus among our students, staff, families, and friends through campaigns, initiatives, and events. The group partners alongside the Kyle Care Foundation to further our goal of embracing mental health.

Glamour Gals

GlamourGals is a unique club because it combats senior isolation by pairing teenage volunteers with residents in senior homes for intergenerational companionship and complimentary beauty makeovers.

"Being a part of Glamour Gals means to positively impact other people through your actions. After joining this club, I have noticed how the little things we do are greatly appreciated by others." Sri Prisha Pillai '28
