Visual arts club

The Visual Arts Club has fun activities, after school snacks and all students are welcome to join! We draw, paint, sculpt, collage and craft with a wide range of media. Professional artists present to their clubs on their crafts. You do not need to be in an art class to attend this club. Good times are had with a great group of student artists!

TATV Club

Use state of the art video production equipment to produce programming for Thornton Academy's television station TATV. Learn how to produce high quality videos, tape school events, learn about new technology, broadcast live events, and use the green screen and graphics.

ta players

The TA Players is one of the school’s largest clubs. The Players produce four shows every year: fall play, one-act competitive play, spring musical, student-written play night. Each year the Players produce six or seven student written one-act plays.  Shows are typically cast and directed by the student writers.

Technical Theater work is also a large part of the TA Players: set construction, lighting, props and stage crew.

student marketing team

Do you take artistic Instagram photos on campus? Would you like to be published on TA's YouTube channel? Student Marketing Team members assist the Marketing & Communications Department with documenting the TA student experience through written, photo, and video projects.

Tripod yearbook

Tripod is Thornton Academy's annual yearbook. This group of students does the design for the book as well as takes photos to document school activities. Join us to help your TA experiences live on forever!
